Privacy Policy
Rep Collective ("we," "us," "our") builds a workout tracking and Hybrid/Race training app. This policy explains what information we collect through the Rep Collective app and website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Rep Collective, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
We only collect what's needed to run the app. We don't use ad networks, analytics trackers, or data brokers.
- Account information: email address and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase), and a username.
- Profile information: name, birthday, and profile photo, if you choose to add them.
- Workout and training data: workouts, exercises, sets, reps, weights, templates, and Hybrid/Race session data (Race Sim, Station Drill, Block Drill) that you log.
- Check-in data: optional daily weigh-ins and periodic check-ins (training/diet feel, weight, notes), if you enable this feature.
- Content you post: comments, likes, and follows visible to other users you're connected to.
- Photos: if you upload a profile picture, we access your photo library only for the image you select.
- Push notification token: a device token used to deliver notifications (likes, comments, follows, reminders), if you enable notifications.
- Basic technical data: standard request metadata (like IP address) automatically logged by our infrastructure providers for security and reliability — we don't use this for tracking or advertising.
Rep Collective can integrate with Apple Health to sync workouts and read heart rate/calorie data, but this feature is currently disabled in the app and does not collect any data at this time.
How we use your information
- To provide the core app: logging workouts, tracking progress, and running Hybrid/Race simulations and drills.
- To power social features you opt into: the community feed, comments, likes, and follows.
- To send notifications you've enabled (e.g. someone liked or commented on your workout, a rest timer, a check-in reminder).
- To maintain account security and respond to support requests.
How we share your information
We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that make the app work:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication, and file storage (profile photos).
- Expo / Apple Push Notification service — delivers push notifications to your device.
- Vercel — hosts the Rep Collective website.
Other users you follow, or who follow you, can see the profile information and workout content you choose to share on the community feed, consistent with the app's normal social features.
Content moderation, blocking, and reporting
Rep Collective lets you report comments or accounts, and block other users. Blocking removes that user's ability to comment on, like, or follow you, and clears their content from your feed. Reports are reviewed by us directly. See the app's Settings for these controls.
Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app. This removes your profile, workouts, sessions, templates, social activity, and photos from our systems. You can also request deletion by emailing us (see below).
Your choices
- You can edit or remove your profile information at any time in Settings.
- You can disable push notifications in your device's system settings.
- You can block or unblock other users, and report content, from within the app.
- You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete it by contacting us below.
Children's privacy
Rep Collective is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encrypted connections and access controls on our database. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
